The story is about this woman, who realizes herself in her own dream and tries to break out and wake up by confronting herself.
The idea of this short film came after shooting a creative look-book for Hungarian fashion label CSF. Their 2011 collection represented an ethereal trenchcoat, which I found quite exciting to shoot with. The basic idea was mixing film noir and surreal elements with modern, intense, dreamlike pictures.
The City of London was the most ideal area, as it’s almost dead on sundays, so we could get the scenes of an empty city. After a couple of weeks of editing we had a live premiere in Budapest at the CSF 2011 S/S fashion show.
